A southwest suburban man has been charged with possessing child pornography.

Anthony Rutten, 26, was charged with two felony counts of child pornography, according to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s office.

Authorities searched Rutten’s home in the 2400 block of Pecan Street in Joliet and arrested him after evidence of child pornography was discovered, according to the AG’s office.

Rutten was released Thursday evening after posting 10 percent of a $75,000 bond, according to the Will County sheriff’s office.

The arrest was the 82nd since Madigan launched “Operation Glass House” in 2010 to investigate child pornography traders in Illinois.
