Two people were shot and wounded Saturday evening in West Garfield Park on the West Side.

The 17-year-old boy and 20-year-old woman were shot in a vehicle just after 6 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Jackson Boulevard, according to the police, who said the boy was shot in the hip and the woman in the leg.

They were being treated at Rush University Medical Center.
