Man, 29, shot in the knee on Far South Side

A 29-year-old man was shot in the right knee as he walked in the 13300 block of South Corliss Avenue in Riverdale on the Far South Side around 10:45 p.m. Friday when he came upon several men exchanging gunfire, according to the police.

They said he tried to run away and was shot but got himself to Roseland Community Hospital.
