Three men were wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting early Saturday on the West Side.
They were outside about 3:15 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Leamington when someone opened fire from an alley, according to Chicago Police.
A 20-year-old man shot in the right shoulder was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital along with a 24-year-old man shot in the hip and arm. Their conditions stabilized, police said. The third man, 31, was treated for an ankle wound and released at the scene.
Police said the shooting was likely gang-related.
Less than an hour earlier, a man showed up at Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and told investigators he’d been wounded on the same block. Police said the shootings were being investigated as separate incidents.
