A man was shot and seriously wounded early Sunday in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 2:10 a.m., the 25-year-old was getting into the passenger side of a vehicle parked in the 8700 block of South Morgan when another car pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
