A man was critically wounded in a Back of the Yards neighborhood shooting Sunday morning on the South Side.

About 9 a.m., the 28-year-old was walking in the 4800 block of South Laflin when a gray car pulled up and someone got out with a gun, according to Chicago Police.

The person shot him once in the abdomen, twice in the right leg and once in the left leg before getting back in the car and taking off, police said. The man was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital.

Police said the shooting was thought to be gang-related.
