Police are warning residents about a recent string of garage burglaries in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

In three incidents, someone gained entry into the residential garage and took property from inside, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The most recent burglary happened in the afternoon hours July 16 in the 4000 block of South Campbell, while another incident happened in the evening hours July 4 in the 3100 block of West 42nd Place, police said. Another garage was burglarized in the evening hours June 29 in the 3000 block of West 42nd Street.

Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8382.
