Man wounded in Roseland shooting

A 22-year-old man was shot Monday evening in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

He was walking just after 7 p.m. in the 10700 block of South Calumet when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police. The vehicle then sped off northbound on Calumet.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
