Several vehicles have been damaged by gunfire in the last week and a half in the North Side Lincoln Square neighborhood.

Someone fired shots and caused broken windows and other damage to parked vehicles on three separate blocks, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

Four vehicles were damaged by gunfire between 2-8 a.m. July 10 in the 2500 block of West Wilson; one was damaged between 1:06-5:45 a.m. July 13 in the 2600 block of West Sunnyside; and two vehicles were damaged at 3:03 a.m. July 18 in the 2600 block of West Eastwood.
