A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a Roseland neighborhood shooting Monday night on the Far South Side.

At 10:38 p.m., the boy was standing on the sidewalk in the first block of West 112th Street when another male opened fire from a gangway nearby, according to Chicago Police.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the left buttock and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
