A man was shot Wednesday evening in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

The 20-year-old was riding in a four-door car in the 8300 block of South Ingleside about 9:45 p.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the right buttock and right calf, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
