Ten people were seriously injured in a rollover crash Saturday morning on the Bishop Ford Expressway in the Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

A Buick Rendezvous carrying several people, some of them believed to be teenagers, hit the rail on the expressway and rolled over into a parking lot about 6:20 a.m. near 109th Street and South Doty Avenue, according to Fire Cmdr. Walter Schroeder and Illinois State Police. One person was ejected from the Buick in the crash.

Four people were taken to Stroger Hospital; two were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital; two were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital; and two were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Schroeder said. All 10 were in “serious-but-stable” condition.

Additional details about the circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
