A man was shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side Friday night.

The 18-year-old was shot in the arm as he was walking in the 9500 block of South St. Lawrence about 9 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.
