A man was shot and killed in the South Side Englewood neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to Chicago Police.

Ernest Hudson, 18, was shot in the head about 4:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Lowe, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 6500 block of South Green.

Hudson was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:55 p.m., police said.

No other details were immediately available.
