PHILADELPHIA — The Rev. Jesse Jackson will speak at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, a night featuring members of the Congressional Black Caucus and Asian-Pacific members of Congress.

Jackson’s selection further underscores his comeback. He was never given any special consideration by President Barack Obama and his team.

Jackson, the Chicago civil rights leader, recently hosted Hillary Clinton at a Rainbow Push convention in chicago.

Jackson twice ran for president. The topic of the speech was not known.
