PHILADELPHIA — The Illinois Democratic delegates casting votes on Tuesday are, for Hillary Clinton, her Park Ridge pal Betsy Ebeling. Illinois Sanders chair Clem Balanoff will vote the Sanders delegates. It’s a big contrast to 2012, when the elected Democrat elite of Illinois at the convention in Charlotte cast the votes for Chicago resident and “son of Illinois,” President Barack Obama.

Illinois. Illinois where the president had served so ably as your Senator, you have 215 votes.

DELEGATE: Madam Secretary, Illinois, the land of Lincoln and the land of President Barack Obama; the land of United States Senator Dick Durban, governor Pat Quinn, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Secretary of State, Jessie White, Attorney General, Lisa Madigan, county board president, Toni Preckwinkle, Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon, Senate President, John Cullerton.

Illinois in November will send six new members to the United States House of Representatives. These people will vote for Nancy Pelosi to become the Speaker of the United State House of Representatives.

Illinois will send Tammy Duckworth, Bran Schneider, Bill Foster, Bill Anure (ph), David Gill, Jerry Bostellas (ph).

Illinois is proud to cast its 196 votes for a son of Illinois, the President of the United States and the next President of the United States, , Barack Obama.

GERMOND: Thank you, Speaker Madigan, Illinois cast 196 votes for a son of Illinois, our President, , Barack Obama. Indiana, you have 105 votes.
