A man was shot Monday night in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was walking on the sidewalk about 9:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of South California when two people approached him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the buttocks and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
