Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot Monday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 32-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 10:40 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Justine when another male exited a vehicle nearby and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and right ankle and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
