A man was shot late Wednesday morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 25-year-old was in the 300 block of West 106th Place about 11:25 a.m. when he “heard shots and felt pain,” according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left ankle and was taken to Roseland Hospital in good condition.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
