A 17-year-old boy was shot late Wednesday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

He was walking on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of South Harding about 10:45 p.m. when someone riding in a white SUV shot him in the right arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
