A 36-year-old woman was shot early Sunday in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

She was sitting in a parked vehicle at 3:52 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 97th Street when a black SUV drove alongside and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The woman suffered a graze wound to the left arm and was taken in good condition to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Center in Evergreen Park, police said.
