Two men shot in Englewood

Two men were shot Sunday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

They were standing in the 6700 block of South Peoria at 1:42 p.m. when two males exited a nearby gangway and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The 21-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the right shoulder and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, police said. The 23-year-old man was shot in the lower right leg and taken to Stroger Hospital.

Both were listed in good condition, police said.

A police source said the younger victim is a documented gang member.
