Man shot on Near West Side

A man was shot early Sunday on the Near West Side.

The 31-year-old was shot in the left leg at 4:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of West Madison, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
