A man was shot early Sunday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 3:40 a.m., the 28-year-old was driving eastbound on West Fullerton Avenue, stopped at North Western Avenue when a black SUV pulled alongside his vehicle and someone inside fired multiple shots, according to Chicago Police. The SUV then sped away eastbound toward the expressway.

The man was shot in the right arm and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
