A 16-year-old girl who was reported missing more than a month ago from the Northwest Side Cragin neighborhood has returned home safely.

Ellymaris “Elly” Saavedra left her home in the 5300 block of West Schubert about 6:30 a.m. on June 22 and did not return, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Sunday morning that she had returned home safely on her own.
