A man was wounded in a shooting late Saturday in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 26-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of East 82nd Street about 10:28 p.m. when someone in a white four-door car shot him in the right arm and left forearm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
