A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Monday night.

The 32-year-old was shot in the left knee about 7:16 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Mozart, according to police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
