Person shot at Lansing motel

A person was shot at a motel in south suburban Lansing Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to the shooting at the Pioneer Motel, 17600 Torrence Ave., at 12:20 p.m., according to Lansing police.

A male, whose age was not disclosed, had been shot multiple times was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available. No one was in custody Monday evening as Illinois State Police assisted Lansing police with the investigation.
