Man missing from Chicago Lawn

A man was reported missing from the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Area Central detectives announced Michael Murphy, 57, is missing from the 6600 block of South Maplewood. Police did not say when he was last seen.

Murphy — who walks with a limp — was described as a black man, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 165 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes, gray hair and medium complexion.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a yellow collar, a dingy white t-shirt, blue khaki pants and brown Timberland boots, police said.
