A 19-year-old woman was killed in a crash with a semi truck Saturday afternoon in southwest suburban Peotone.

Sarah M. Hank was driving a Toyota Corolla at Wilmington and Center Roads at 1:27 p.m. when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the semi, according to the Will County sheriff’s and coroner’s offices.

Hank, of Homewood, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

No charges have been filed in the crash. The sheriff’s traffic unit is investigating.
