A man was wounded in a Friday afternoon drive-by shooting in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 4:45 p.m., the 28-year-old was outside in the 1400 block of South Ridgeway when someone in a passing white car opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police said the shooting likely was gang-related.
