Four burglaries in Back of the Yards on the South Side prompted police to issue a community alert Thursday.

The most recent burglary occurred Tuesday afternoon in the 5300 block of South Honore Street, according to Chicago Police. The day before, two burglaries were reported in the afternoon in the 5300 block of South Damen Avenue and in the 2100 block of West Garfield Boulevard.

The first burglary occurred July 3 in the 5200 block of South Wood Street, police said.
