A man was shot Sunday evening in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 19-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the side about 8:35 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Union, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member who was not cooperating with investigators.
