Three armed robberies in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side have prompted a community alert from Chicago Police.

Two or three suspects armed with handguns rob victims on the street, according to the alert.

The first robbery occurred at 1:00 a.m. on July 28 in the 600 block of North Leclaire Avenue. The second robbery happened later that morning at 8:20 a.m. in the 4800 block of West Huron Street, and the third robbery took place at 11:45 a.m. on July 31 in the 800 block of North Lawler Avenue.
