Man shot to death in Roseland

A man was shot to death Tuesday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 8:10 p.m., 32-year-old Demarco V. Kennedy was in a home in the 600 block of East 102nd Place when he was shot in the neck, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Kennedy, who lived in the same block as the shooting, was taken to Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:14 p.m., authorities said.
