A man and woman were shot Tuesday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 24-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were shot about 10:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Karlov, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said. The woman was shot in the left leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. Both of their conditions were stabilized.
