A teenage boy was shot through the window of a home in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood early Wednesday.

The 17-year-old was in a home at 12:01 a.m. in the 3500 block of West Pierce when gunshots rang out on the street outside and a bullet came through the window and struck him, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.
