A man was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood shooting Tuesday night on the South side.

The 20-year-old was shot in the right leg at 9:19 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Halsted, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. Additional information was not immediately available.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
