Girl, 17, shot, wounded in Austin

A 17-year-old girl was shot and wounded Tuesday night in Austin.

The girl was shot in the back at 10:26 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Leamington, according to the police, who said she was being treated at Mount Sinai Hospital but gave no details of the shooting.
