Man shot in Marquette Park

A man was wounded in a shooting late Wednesday in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 27-year-old was shot about 11 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Artesian, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the right foot, although his condition was not immediately known, police said.
