A man was fatally shot Wednesday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Police responding to reports of shots fired at 10:20 p.m. found 22-year-old Stephan Triplett lying on a parkway in the 12400 block of South Lowe with a gunshot wound to the head, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Triplett was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:13 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in the 12400 block of South Emerald.
