Moon Alert

We have the “all clear” today to do business. The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Tread carefully today because misunderstandings and confusion might create difficulties when dealing with others. Travel plans might also have obstacles. Discussions about politics, religion and race could be misinterpreted. Yikes! Therefore, go gently.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a poor day to make important decisions about shared property, inheritances and who will be responsible for what. For starters, people are not enthusiastic about much. On top of this, there is likely an element of confusion and lack of logic to the mix. Oy vey.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Discussions with partners and close friends will be challenging today. In fact, they might even be depressing. Fortunately, all of this is a mild annoyance, like a mosquito in the room. It’s a little — but it’s big. It’s a poor day to make important decisions. Forewarned is forearmed.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Just keep chugging along at work today even if you feel temporarily disappointed or dispirited. Don’t worry — you are not alone. We number millions. We have T-shirts but we can’t afford jackets. Fortunately, the weekend looks better! Also attitude can change anything, right?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Romantic partners will have to be diplomatic and tender with each other today. Likewise, parents and people working with children will have to be diplomatic and tender with kids because it’s easy to be discouraged today. It’s also easy to be misunderstood.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Make plans for a fun weekend because this is a real possibility. However, today, someone might discourage you, especially an older family member. Don’t let this get you down. Start planning for tomorrow and Sunday. If someone seems to be confused, they probably are. Sigh. And so it goes.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

It’s easy to fall into worry mode today. Remember that old saying: “Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.” Do something to pamper yourself today to counter feelings of malaise. A yummy dessert? A new scarf? A long lunch?

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a poor day for important financial decisions because you feel discouraged about something. You also might be confused. Unfortunately discussions with others do not clarify things, in fact, they make them worse. Oh well, this is just a temporary dark cloud on your horizon. Gone soon!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Optimism and physical activity are survival issues for Sagittarians. That’s a fact. Today, however, the Moon is in your sign lined up with stern Saturn, and this can be depressing. It’s all about duty and hard work. (Sometimes hard work is fun to watch.)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You might feel cut off from others and a bit lonely today. You will also probably feel misunderstood. “Nobody gets me.” Don’t worry because a lot of people feel this way today. It’s mild but it’s there. Just keep plugging along and plan for a fun weekend.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Someone older might be critical of you today. Dontcha love it? Do not take this too hard because a lot of people are saying things they don’t really mean today, mostly because they don’t know what they’re talking about. Oops, did I just say that? Bwa-ha-ha-ha.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Someone might rain on your parade today because in some ways it is a tough day for dealing with parents, bosses and VIPs. But hey, things could be worse. Actually, whatever makes today a bit lackluster is fairly minor. You can handle this stuff. The weekend will be easier.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Bruce Greenwood (1956) shares your birthday today. You are imaginative and full of ideas! You have an easygoing personality plus a strong will and determination. People like you because you are witty, happy and distinctive. Take advantage of opportunities that present themselves this year because this is the year you’ve been waiting for. Expect a major change, perhaps as significant as what occurred around 2006. It’s time to test your future!
