A 34-year-old man was shot twice Saturday morning in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was standing on the porch of a residence in the 4700 block of West Gladys about 3:22 a.m. when a suspect fired shots and then ran. He was shot in the abdomen and leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, according to Chicago Police.

Area North detectives are investigating.
