Chicago Police are cautioning business owners in Brighton Park after a pair of burglaries over the last two weeks in the Southwest Side neighborhood.

One or more people broke in to swipe cash from registers, according to an alert issued Sunday by Deering District police.

The first burglary happened late July 30 in the 3900 block of South California, and the other happened late Aug. 3 in the 4100 block of South California, the alert said.

Police don’t have a description of possible suspects. Anyone with information should call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8382.
