Man with gunshot wound walks into South Side hospital

A 19-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in the East Side neighborhood on the South Side.

The man was shot in the right side of his abdomen in the 10100 block of South Avenue L about 3:05 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Trinity Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
