Chicago Police are warning residents of armed robberies at businesses in the Belmont Cragin, Irving Park and North Park neighborhoods on the Northwest Side.

At least one man entered the business, pulled out a handgun and announced a robbery before taking cash from the register and other property, according to a community alert from police.

The first incident happened at 3:05 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 5000 block of West Armitage, and the second one happened at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 5 in the 3700 block of North Kimball, police said. The third robbery happened at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of West Bryn Mawr.
