A man who had been shot repeatedly was dropped off at a West Side hospital Monday morning.

The 43-year-old man was dropped off by an acquaintance at Mount Sinai Hospital about 10 a.m. with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and both legs, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

Investigators believe the shooting happened in the vicinity of Douglas Park, near Sacramento and Fillmore.

Additional details weren’t immediately available.

The fatal shooting occurred in McKinley Park on the Southwest Side.
The man, 39, was standing on a sidewalk in the 2000 block of West 36th Street about 10:30 p.m. when someone approached on a bike and opened fire, striking him in the chest, police said.
