A man was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 20-year-old was standing on the street at 1:48 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Sacramento when three males walked up and fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
