Authorities found weapons and marijuana inside the home of a convicted felon Monday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

About 4:10 p.m., Narcotics Division officers searched Kion M. Jenkins’ home in the 200 block of North Kostner and found handguns, including a Colt 357 Magnum Revolver, cash and marijuana, according to Chicago Police.

Jenkins, 24, was arrested and charged with five felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon and possession of firearm by a felon, and a misdemeanor count of cannabis possession, police said.

Jenkins is scheduled to appear in bond court Tuesday.
