A 21-year-old man was found shot to death Sunday morning in the South Side Park Manor neighborhood.

Officers responding to a call of a person down about 9:05 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Wabash found Anthony Nelson with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nelson, of the 1400 block of West 78th Street, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:30 a.m., authorities said. An autopsy ruled the death a homicide.

No one was in custody for the shooting as of Tuesday morning.

A 16-year-old boy was killed on a same block nine days earlier.
